The Golden Hip Award

The first golden hip award was presented to the Hip Fracture team at Royal Alexandra Hospital in 2018. The award was created by Karen Adam, national clinical lead for hip fracture, as a recognition of the importance of team work and to celebrate annual improvements in clinical care and achievement of the Scottish Standards of Care for Hip Fracture Patients.
